An experienced advocate on the local, state, and national levels, Jo Comerford has a long history of engagement with progressive issues. Most recently, she has worked as a Campaign Director for MoveOn, and previously served on the executive staff of several regional advocacy and aid organizations, including Western Massachusetts American Friends Service Committee and The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts. As an openly lesbian candidate, Jo has taken strong public stands on LGBTQ rights issues, including transgender equality and ending conversion therapy. The MassEquality PAC is excited to endorse Jo as a write-in candidate for Senator.
