MassEquality Announces 2026 Endorsements: Marjorie Decker, Will Brownsberger, and Mike Connolly

We are proud to announce our endorsements of Representative Marjorie Decker, Senator Will Brownsberger, and Representative Mike Connolly in the 2026 Massachusetts elections.

These endorsements reflect MassEquality’s commitment to supporting candidates who have demonstrated a strong record of standing up for LGBTQ+ people and who have the experience, relationships, and determination to advance equality in the Massachusetts Legislature.

Marjorie Decker — State Representative, 25th Middlesex District

Rep. Decker has been a consistent and outspoken champion for LGBTQ+ people, particularly transgender people and access to gender-affirming healthcare. As Chair of the Joint Committee on Public Health, she has played an important role in protecting healthcare access and responding to attacks on transgender healthcare.

Her leadership to establish a first-in-the-nation trust to help sustain gender-affirming care demonstrates the kind of proactive leadership LGBTQ+ people need during a time of unprecedented attacks on transgender people nationwide.

Will Brownsberger — State Senator, Suffolk and Middlesex District

Senator Brownsberger brings a long record of legislative leadership on LGBTQ+ equality. He was a key Senate leader in securing Massachusetts’ transgender civil rights protections and has continued to stand with transgender people and defend access to gender-affirming care.

His experience, legislative effectiveness, and longstanding commitment to LGBTQ+ equality make him an important partner for our community in the Senate.

Mike Connolly — State Representative, 26th Middlesex District

Rep. Connolly has consistently demonstrated a commitment to LGBTQ+ equality, reproductive freedom, racial justice, and the rights of marginalized communities. He has been a strong voice for progressive policies and has worked to ensure that Massachusetts remains a place where LGBTQ+ people can live openly, safely, and with dignity.
